PETN Talent Pool
Support of young talent on the Nordschleife
The programme
With the Talent Pool, the PETN is taking an important step towards developing young talent on the Nordschleife. The aim of this programme is to specifically promote young talent and support them on their way in motorsports. It includes an extensive workshop programme and driver training, including a visit to the simulator at Manthey in Meuspath. At the end of the season, the ‘PETN Junior’ will be selected by a committee based on criteria for driving development and soft skills, and will receive funding for the following season in the PETN through additional incentives for the team. The requirements for participation are a maximum age of 24, experience in motorsport and an annual registration in the PETN.
A total of seven drivers are part of the PETN Talent Pool 2025. Harley Haughton, Joshua Hislop and Jan-Niklas Stieler from SRS Team Sorg Rennsport, Niklas Koch from Smyrlis Racing, Tim Lukas Müller from EiFelkind-Racing and Moritz Oehme from Team 9und11. In addition, the reigning PEETN Champion Raphael Rennhofer will undergo the training and education of the PETN Talent Pool.
