  • The champions of the inaugural season of the digital Porsche one-make series are Team SCHERER eSPORT CUP II with drivers Fabian Hochstatter and Julian Reimer
  • The award ceremony for the PEETN teams will take place during the first race of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring season

Meuspath. After the final fifth round of the "Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series 23/24" (DNLS), SCHERER eSPORT Cup II (#115) with Fabian Hochstatter and Julian Reimer is at the top of the Porsche Esports Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PEETN) standings. In a thrilling final race of the season, third place in the digital Green Hell was enough for the two-time race winners to win the championship. The class winners in the season finale, Team Redline (#130) with Luke Bennett and Gianni Vecchio, finished the championship in second place. The sister car of the champions SCHERER eSPORT CUP I (#105) with Luca Alpert and Raphael Rennhofer completed the championship podium.

Since the start of the DNLS season in December 2023, all PEETN races have been dominated by a tight field, exciting battles for position and numerous lead changes. From the 14 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) vehicles, three different winners emerged from two 3.5-hour races, two 3-hour races and one 4-hour race. Two race wins each went to the champion team SCHERER eSPORT CUP II and Team Redline. Team SCHERER eSPORT CUP I also won one race. As a result, the title decision was also fiercely contested. Before the start of the final race, the four leading teams were within ten points of each other and therefore had a chance of winning the championship.

"We are impressed and happy with the successful start of the digital one-make series in its first season and the top-class racing we were able to experience at every round of the PEETN," summarises Julia Klee, Project Leader of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring. "It's great for us to see that the digital and the real one-make series on the Nordschleife offer each other added value. Congratulations to the winning teams and drivers and a big thank you for the joint debut season of the PEETN."

The synergy between the series will be emphasised at a joint event for the first race of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring season. All PEETN drivers and team representatives are invited to come to the Nürburgring-Nordschleife and watch the race from the Porsche Lounge. The three winning teams will receive their championship trophies and prize money totalling 8,000 euros at a ceremony on site. In addition, there will be a complementary programme including a company tour of the Manthey Racing GmbH and simulator training supervised by Manthey engineers for the three best-placed teams.
